Our name are derived from the Mvunga moutain range (meaning Spirit mountain in the Tete province of Mozambique).Our professional hunters are well trained and have over 30 years of hunting experience between them. We can cater to English, German, Polish and Dutch clients.  They will look after your personal needs and ensure your safety and enjoyment at all times.

Mvunga Range Safaris conduct safaris in the renowned Zambezi delta and in Tete districts of Mozambque.

The Zambezi district are renowned for the big herds of Buffalo and Sable with the small antilope like Suni, Red Duiker, Oribi and Grey Duiker in abundance, rugged hunting with no Roads and Towns available for Miles  a real African Experience a must for every African hunter to experience.

Our Mvunga-Tete concession consists of 4 of the big 5 as well with huge numbers of Buffalo reported in the area big tusked Elephants and the majestic Lion.Kudus and other antilope are in huge numbers with very good trophies.

I would like to invite hunters and travelers alike to come and join me in the African bushveld on concessions totaling over 80 000 hectares located approximately 2 and a half hours drive from Tete international airport and with an hour drive from Marameu.

We at Mvunga Range Safaris do not profess to be the “biggest” and “best” but we concentrate on the individual client and by giving him the best possible experience whilst on safari in Southern Africa

Mozambique Hunting Conditions And What To Expect

You will be picked up from either Tete  International airport or from the Maramue air strip depending on the area and type of animals sought after by the client the easiest way to the Zambezi would be by air charter,  by a experienced and well trained professional hunter and driven to the concessions  where you would be given time to unpack and settle into our luxury yet African feel tentss  on which you would be given the choice to start your hunt or wait until the next day.

You will receive three meals per day and soft drinks which will be included in your daily tariffs.  Alcoholic drinks aren’t included. You will be wined and dined to your hearts delight and it will carry on for the entire duration of the hunt.

On the last day you would be driven back to the airport whilst all your trophies will be taken care off at the taxidermy that is located on the game ranch where you would be hunting.

All the necessary hunting arrangements from assisting you getting your rifle into the country to charter flights where needed and planning of the international leg of your flight can be done for you.

All our camps consists of Tented Safari camps with Flush toilets and running water from boreholes.The water are safe to drink and we do keep bottled water for your convenience.

Observers are more than welcome to join their partners and can expect the same service and treatment that the hunters get.
